Trainer, Jennifer Smith

Jennifer Smith has been riding horses for over 40 years. She has been teaching horseback riding and training horses professionally since 1984, and founded Integrity Stables in 1995. She is a certified trainer and an experienced horsewoman. Jennifer is a Champion rider on a national level in English style and Western riding. She is a skilled professional who feels honored to teach you and your family to ride safely so you can fully enjoy these amazing animals!

English Equitation

Jennifer began showing horses by 11 years old, winning competitions by 13, and at 17 years old, she won on the National Circuit!

Show Jumping, Racing, Dressage, Western

Jennifer has competed Nationally in Jumping, Dressage, Racing, and Western riding! She is an AAA Champion Hunter/Jumper and ranked second in the nation for Western Equitation!

Therapeutic, Competitive, and Pleasure Riding

Jennifer went on to receive her BS from Cal State Long Beach in Psychology with an emphasis on Learning and Behavior.  Jennifer continued to expand her knowledge and abilities when she entered the Instructor Training School and studied Therapeutic Riding, Cognitive Disabilities, Animal Behavior, and Teaching Methods.  After working for various riding schools and stables, implementing levels programs, and designing her own method of horse training, Jennifer moved to Julian!  She established Integrity Stables in 1995.  Jennifer is committed to teaching riders and training horses in a safe, positive environment where all aspects of the program are done with the highest integrity.
